Support Their Health

We create a plan for you and your pet to increase bio diversity and balance the gut microbiome.

“No veterinary visits, no stressful and invasive tests for my dog, nothing more than a simple stool test.

As a dog nutritionist, it's one thing suspecting a dog has an imbalance in gut bacteria, it's a different matter altogether being able to prove it. That's just what I did when my own dog Ava became ill. No veterinary visits, no stressful and invasive tests for my dog, nothing more than a simple stool test. Three years later, my Ava has still never needed the vet, and I've been happy to recommend the Biome4Pets services to many of my clients, every one of whom has also been more than delighted with the service.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The microbiome is home to trillions of species of bacteria, these support the health of your pet in multiple ways, with links to many of today's common ailments including itchiness, gastric discomfort and food sensitivities. Imbalances of the gut bacteria are common, caused by lifestyle, diet, stress and medications. Many of our pets have low levels of good gut bacteria and high levels of bacteria that cause inflammation. This test will accurately pinpoint low levels of all the good gut bacteria and make personalised recommendations on how best to increase them through dietary changes.

Our tests take between 2-4 weeks to get your results to you from when we receive the sample.
The test is completely non-invasive, so there’s no risk to your dog, no matter their condition. All that’s required is a small sample of their faeces, which we’ll send to our lab for analysis. We’ll take care of the rest. Any dog, regardless of their health status, can be tested. However, certain medications, such as antibiotics, may affect the results or prevent us from accurately analysing the sample. We recommend you wait four weeks after taking the antibiotics before getting tested.
